Copyright Claims
Flvto converts on demand from links its visitors supply and keeps no copies. We nonetheless respect that a rights holder may not want a particular video converted, and we block links on request. This page describes the process.
The effect of a block
Once a notice is accepted, the YouTube video IDs it lists are added to a block list and any attempt to convert them returns an error. Because nothing is stored, there is nothing else to remove. Note that we cannot take the video down from YouTube; that requires YouTube's own copyright tools.
How to notify us
Send an email to contact@stylowemebleradomysl.pl with the subject line Copyright claim containing:
- your full name and, where relevant, the organisation you represent;
- an address, telephone number or email at which we can reach you;
- the precise YouTube links of the videos in question, one per line;
- a description or URL of the protected work;
- a good-faith statement that the use is not authorised by the owner, an agent or the law;
- a statement under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner;
- your signature, physical or electronic.
We reply to incomplete notices with a list of what is missing. A complete notice is usually handled inside three working days, after which you receive an email confirming the block.
Bulk requests
Labels, publishers and agents may attach a CSV or text file of URLs to a single covering statement. We are glad to set up a regular feed for organisations that issue many notices.
Counter-notices
If you uploaded a blocked video and believe the block is mistaken, write to the same address with Counter-notice in the subject line and include the URLs, how to reach you, a sworn statement that the block stems from a mistake or misidentification, and your agreement that the courts of your home jurisdiction may hear any dispute. We pass the counter-notice to the claimant and lift the block after ten working days unless they tell us that legal proceedings have been started.
False claims
Knowingly false notices are unlawful in many jurisdictions and may expose the sender to costs and damages. We may disregard senders who repeatedly assert rights they do not hold.
