Terms of Service

These terms cover every use of the Flvto website and its conversion tools. By converting a link you accept them; if you do not accept them, please do not use Flvto. Last updated September 2026.

1. What Flvto provides

Flvto takes the URL of a public YouTube video and produces an MP3, or if you choose, an MP4, from it. The service is free, requires no registration, and may be modified, suspended or withdrawn at any time without notice.

2. Eligibility

You must be legally able to agree to these terms where you live, and your use must comply with local law. If you act for a company or organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it.

3. Acceptable use

You must not:

• convert anything you are not entitled to copy;
• sell, redistribute, broadcast or re-upload files obtained through Flvto without the rights holder's permission;
• submit requests with bots, scripts or other automation, or place an unreasonable load on the service;
• circumvent any restriction we apply, including blocks requested by rights holders;
• copy, frame, scrape, reverse engineer or resell the service;
• use Flvto to harass anyone, invade privacy or break the law.

4. Content responsibility

You choose the links you submit and you are solely responsible for confirming that copying the content is lawful for you: because you own it, because its licence allows downloading, because the rights holder agreed, or because a legal exception applies. Flvto does not inspect links and makes no promise that any conversion is permitted.

5. Copyright notices

We act on valid notices from rights holders following the process on the copyright claims page. Once a notice is accepted, the videos it names can no longer be converted.

6. YouTube and other third parties

All videos, thumbnails and previews come from YouTube, a service of Google, under its own terms. Flvto is an independent site with no connection to YouTube or Google and no endorsement from them. Third-party services and linked sites are outside our control.

7. Our content

The Flvto name, logo, layout and text belong to us. Normal use is welcome; copying the site, its branding or its text for use elsewhere is not.

8. No warranty

Flvto is provided as is. We give no guarantee that it will be available without interruption, free of errors, secure, or that any particular video can be converted or that output will meet a given quality.

9. Liability

As far as the law permits, Flvto and the people who run it are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, nor for lost data, profit or goodwill, connected with the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is capped at the total fees you have paid Flvto, namely zero.

10. Indemnity

You agree to cover Flvto and its operators for any claim, loss or cost, legal fees included, arising from a breach of these terms on your part or from material you obtained via Flvto.

11. Blocking

Flvto may refuse any visitor, network or link without notice where we suspect abuse, automation or infringement.

12. Privacy

How Flvto treats data is set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of this agreement.

13. Changes, severability, entire agreement

We may update these terms by posting a new version here; continued use means acceptance. If any clause is unenforceable the rest remain in effect. These terms are the whole agreement between you and Flvto about the service.
